Megasquirt fuel map for BEC wanted

Hi Chaps

I am in the process of injecting my 893 blade engine so have knocked up a manifold, coupled to some 954 blade throttle bodies.

So does anyone have a megasquirt map for a BEC which I could use as a starting point. I figure that any ~1000cc bike engines map will do as a starter.

I would have thought the ignition side of things would be similar from bike to bike but I doubt the fuelling will be....
I may be wrong but I reckon it'll be difficult to EFI a bike engine without access to a wideband sensor or an emissions testing machine....
Then again, if you know a way of doing it without either of the above do let me know- I'm heading off down the EFI path and am curently saving up for an Innovate!!

I,m only after a base map to start things off.

I already have a normal Lambda and think I can get my hands on a wideband for pennies.

When its EFI'ed I will turbo anyway, I do not like the idea of a blow through carb, this is cheaper for me anyway as I have the bits from other projects to hand.

You may get a wide band sensor cheap but you won't get a controller cheap.

I've got a map for an R1 if you want. It's an Emerald map but you can probably convert the data. You can download the Emerald software for free and see what is looks like to help.

Yes you will. Search 14.7:1 wideband and you will come up with one for about £60.

I have a full Zx12 ignition map if it is any use to you? You really want ignition control as well especially if you are going turbo route.

p38 range rovers have wideband sensors as standard, plenty being broken these days so that clears that aspect.

Ignition will just stay as the blade engines standard system. Plenty of crab blowthough systems use this. EFI should just give me better control of mixture.

As for a reader, how about this first thing I have googled.

ZX12 should give me a starting point, can you put the variables into you photo archive, I think it supports excel format.

I needed to use the Hybrid Alpha-N setup on my RF900R engine using MS Extra (no ignition yet).
Wide Band will need a controller like the innovative LC-1, I'm still saving for one.
You can have some of my maps to try.
I found the initial getting it runing easy, but from there on wasn't.
I think rolling road next.

The sensor itself may be cheap but you'll still need a controller to drive it, they don't just wire into the MS like a narrowband does. The controller isn't something that can be robbed out of the scrappy, it'll be built into the functionality of the ECU.

I keep looking at that one but delivery seems slow from the forum posts and I havent had areply to an email i sent some time back.It looks as if it would do the job though so will be keen to hear how you get on.

So far happy with the service.

But If your in a hurry get a LC-1

Don't forget he might be a one man outfit.
Design / testing / sales / shipping / tech support.... not easy.
