Zetec Inlet Gasket - Needed?

Hi,

Daft question time.

When fitting a Bogg Bros manifold to
a Silver top Zetec do I need this gasket
or make an allowance for it?

The image shows where it comes off the
original manifold.

There appears to be a small channel and a pipe
connection circled in yellow.

Oil vapour re-circulator, BB will provide you with a paper gasket, if not just make your own.

Bogg Bros supplied my with this gasket with their manifold to mate up to my silvertop zetec. Seems to work just fine.

Retro Ford do a nice cheap paper style gasket.

They do indeed, I've just bought one, much, much better than my last attempt with gasket paper. I was quite impressed with RetroFord, first time I've used them, delivery was lightening fast

checked out the paper gaskets on RF.
Did you have to trim out the correct port profile
on each opening?

Sorry Steven, only just seen this. No it fitted straight on, fitted it tonight, a straight on job, quite impressed with it for the price, not really much more than gasket paper.
