Hi,
I have been giving some thought selling my MAC#1 to fund another build (but something different).
Any ideas about the best places to advertise and what sort of price should I be looking for?
It is a Type9R Worxs with a 954 blade engine, willwood disk brakes front and back, GAZ gold shocks, power commander, digidash II with GPS timer and a
road cage. It is registered on a '58' plate and has done about 800 miles.
It was also featured in a few magazine and there is an extensive build diary online.

Any useful advice would be great.

Pistonheads seems to be the norm, and cars seem to be selling quite well still.
No idea on price - £9k (just a guess)?
Cheers
I was thinking something similar on both counts.

I think there's definitely a premium to be had for good looking cars and yours would qualify.
Ask for more, especially if you expect to be haggled down a little.
If it were a month or two down the line I'd consider making an offer - really like the look of yours!
Cheers
Mark
Thanks, I am pleased you like it and hope others will feel the same.

nooooooo dont do it
after seeing this car at cadwell
i will say that it is absolutely stunning!!!!
what the new project you have in mind??
was yours the build in complete kit car over two months?
If so I was SOOO disapointed they never bothered doing a proper report on how it went!
I mean what is the point of a story if they dont even give an overview of how it goes?
Build diary was good though, seems to have good attention to detail if its the build I;m thinking of.
All the best with the sale
I'll give you..... A beer of your choice and an empty garage if you give it to me?
Good luck selling mate, I'm sure you'll get loads, it's a lovely car!
Si.
£ 9k ish is what appears in the ads, not idea what they sell for.
Thanks for all the encouragement. I will stick it on pistonheads and see what happens.
The car is the one from the ckc article and the trackday at cadwell.
It was a pity that ckc didn't drive the car but to be honest it was a bit of a handful at that stage but has since been setup correctly by mac1
and now handles really nicely.
Cheers
Liam.
