Only a few days left now. Snow is forecast this week, my SVA day is Friday at Aberdeen, I am hoping to drive the 28 miles but don't realy want to
risk it in the snow, so maybe trailor it instead.
I don't want to get it covered in salt either.
Can you spot anything missing?
If anyone happens to drop in at the factory, please ensure the guys are working hard on my cycle wing brackets. I need them now now!
Any tips on fitting/bending the Mac#1 cycle wing brackets and PU'ing on the wings?

are you even allowed to drive an un-registered car to sva? mine is going before too long and dont have a trailor!
Does it have a reverse light? like the colour

I wish we could get away without then as I love them missing...
You can drive it to the SVA, as long as you have insurance.
You don't need a reversing light.

Fitting front wings:
Just make sure you have a very well "keyed" area to bond too on both the stay and the inside of the arch.
When they are bonded on, take the wheels off and "stitch" across the stay back and forward. So it would go arch/stay/arch in W patterns from
the underside...
With regard to the front wingstays:
Get something solid and rounded over (I use the lever thingy for my small trolley jack!) Brace it between the tyre and the stay and then just bend
them over.
Try to leave about a 5mm gap between tyre top and stay.
Try to do the bend in one go.
If you do have a spare bit of time (depending on whether you get your wingstays in time!!!), then I would trim a little more around your exhaust
cutout in the bonnet if I were you.

how do you insure a car with no registration? does it not need a reverse light even tho it has a reverse gear

I was at my local VOSA station recently. A guy came in to reschedule a test because he was still waiting for a new reversing ligt switch to come
in.
The manager told him that a reverse light was not required.
His very words were " We are only interested in where you are going, not where you have been "
It made me chuckle

The fog light is vertical, I had to wedge some foam in behind the top of the light to get it vertical.

Like Steve said, form the bend over something wedged on the tyre. A hammer shaft or similar, then key the bracket and use some cleaner on the
underside of the mudgaurd, then bond and tape on in position and allow to dry, remove tape and trim up the edges for SVA. Job done
Shame I missed you yesterday would have been good to have a look at the car. Did see a garage door open but couldn't make out if it was a kit car or tin top.
I taped some hosepipe ontop of tyres then bent the stay down till it touched. That way you get an even spacing.
As said clean everything. Then clean again. Bond and tape till set. Then bond some more (with wheel off). Mine slipped a bit while they were setting,
just passed the test.
Dont forget to key it and clean it.
Will stick for long time. One of mine has just loosened but thats after 3 years.

I had to to edges of seat for my test, also put some edge trim over where the belts rub.
I had to increase space between exhaust and bonnet too. Mine was about same as yours but you could just see where the edges were starting to get
charred (or at least discoloured by the heat).
On nosecone where the side bulge is, i had to round off the square return. I think later nosecones were made with a rad.
Whats the max height for rear fogs?
Bolt covers on upper seat belt mounts? Edge trim on traingular plates?
Starter live terminal covered?
Extra locknut on steering column upper to intermediate shaft connection (i used one nyloc, tester didnt like - easy fix to add second nut).
Proof that fuel filler hose is petrol resistant?
Handbrake cables clipped so they dont rub on anything when handbrake is worked.

Rear fog max height is 1m, it's definatly below that.
