First Start Up.
Fluids going into the engine and fuel tank this week. Nearly everything wired, and, plumbled up...
Any advice before I atempt to start it? At the moment theres no coolant but I just want to turn it over to get the oil pressure up and woosh,
vroom!
I'll be setting up me camcorder to record it. I'll postit if it starts up OK.

Yep, make sure the starter motor is done up tight. 
Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

Starter is done up like a kipper
All the original Ford cables unmolested back to the battery and up to the switch.
Everything through the bulkhead courtsey of B&Q electrical fittings.
Just need to get rid of all the fibreglass dust!!

I'd suggest to take the sparks out (and unplug coils so you don't get fried) then spin it over to build up oil pressure without
compression. Then fit plugs and go for it....

Have a fire extinguisher to hand, you won't need it, but if you did.................

Maybe put a bit of oil down the plug holes if its been standing for a while.

Well, took all you good gentlemens advise and pulled the plugs, tipped a little oil in and turned it over by hand.
It took about 4L to get into the middle of the dipstick.
I connected my oil pressure gauge up and gave the starter a whirl. After a few seconds and a false start the gauge moved up to 65 Ibft. Getting quite
excited now
Founs this handy place for the oil pressure pipe while trying to find out how big the switch was so I could get a T piece. In the end no
need!!
