Had my fist proper drive today. took the car to newbury for an inspection 80miles round trip
i took it easy as it was the first test drive, we must of past 4 police cars but i was suprised i didn't get a tug! as i didn't have any
front wings on by that time! but had all my paperwork and insurance!
the chap took all of 10mins to look over the car and said i will get an 08 plate yippie.
just my sva to go, a week today.
only down side was that both front arch brackets broke off about 10miles into the journey, it looks like from vibration, so i've got some work to
do before tuesday.
some pics of when we arrived.

Well done!!!
Especially well done as it is my understanding you're not allowed to drive to the inspection
Cheers all, i'm knackered thou. with the roller coaster ride!
i asked dvla and my insurance, and was told it was ok to drive
as it was a pre arranged appointment

we were lucky when we had the rh superspec inspected (feb 08) they came out..
we were told we could not legally drive to the DVLA a distance off about 2 miles.
now snapper is going throu the process he shas been told due to health and safety they are not allowed to come out anymore so he must trailer his to
the office..
The dvla bloke didn't even care that i had no front arches, well not where they should have been anyway, poor lisa had to have them on her lap
for 70miles!
if the letter said anything about not driving it i would have trailered it as i have a trailer.
but i spoke my my insurance this moring and said i'm taking it pre sva and they were fine. maybe they all have different rules
Great looking car
Good luck with SVA
nice one!!
