hi marc,
when working out my budget, which engine gearbox should i be on the lookout for? I know we discussed audi with transaxle, but from which models? v6? Which cars have transaxle?

also if i were to use vtec what gearbox / diff etc would i need?
sorry only know rwd, new to mid engine!

oh yes

best bets for simplicity and cost are the s4 audi engine and gearbox assembly this is what we are fitting to our demonstrator with a few minor tweeks we are hoping to achieve around 300 hp for about £1500 all in,
you can of course use the tt engine with a suitable audi box from most a4 cars
