more bodywork
After months of being too busy at work to do anything else I got back to the car .
I am at the point of having to decide weather or not to make the sides of the fenders bolt on or glass them together. I had considered putting the
muffler in the fender so having it bolt on would be good but may be too much work. If I put a strip of metal behind the joint and have enough
overlap on both sides I hope it wont crack right away. Its turbo but I think it will look better with a pipe out both sides to fill the gap between
front and rear fenders.
First time its been out of the garage since spring and its suprising how many people slow down driving by to look.

Wow, nice job Really like the rear of your car.
Maybe it's a idea to keep it simple. Build some brackets atached tot the chassis en fit the bodyparts wit some Deuz fastners.

Dale, interesting pics and an attractive looking car, but there are certain clues in the pics that suggest you might be somewhere foreign. Perhaps you
could put your location in your profile?

Nice car by the way. Is that PU foam carved to the shape of a car body?

Perhaps I was being too subtle.

Nice. The rear end has really worked. I like the use of the MG lamps. Are you going down the route of large seperate lamps at the front either side of
the nose cone?

Looks like Ontario Canada Plates on the Chrysler Mini van. The picture of the chassis in snow also looks familiar, keep up the good work.

Thanks for the replies. The bucks were made from wood and foam, for the nose and the rear fenders, the bonnet is made from the original mgb bonnet
and wood strips laminated to the sides to get the shape. The front wings are a compination of flat pieces and a set of clamshell wings.
Sorry I forgot to have my location in the profile. Just on the Canadian side of Lake erie in Ontario.

Oops, Canada. I've made that mistake before. Americans don't mind being mistaken for Canadians. More than the other way round.
I once drove from Detroit to Niagra falls. The two sides of the border looked exactly the same but for one difference. The US side had massive
illuminated advertising hoardings every 100 yards along the road. The Canadian side was nice.

I am exactly half way between Detroit and Niagara falls. Actually took the boys there on Monday for a day trip. They had a blast.
