Intercooler and vent pics
Following on from my questions regarding air flow on the nose cone and intercooler designs i have a dded a few pics of my nearly finished mods.
Using an air line i am impressed with the amount of air flow entering the duct but wouldnt mind suggestions on possible adding some slits in the
bonnet just behind the front edge to help expel the air which has passed thru the intercooler. Comments welcome

First thing to do if the car runs is take some measurements. You want a nice Magnehelic gauge (or a modern digi pressure gauge) which can read small
pressure differences. Measure the pressure across the intercooler to see which way the air is flowing. Looks can be deceiving and many production
vents flow up and out not just in.
Then decide if you need additional venting. I would suggest large wedge shape side exits from the engine bay which seem to work quite well.

when in your archive, you need to right click the picture and select properties then there's location i think it is. basically, the tag you
pasted, but with http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk in front of it
then add IMG tags either end or use the photo button thing.

yeh yeh very funny, the vent needs painting but i need to decide if its black or silver.
Also funny that i do indeed want the air to enter the engine but its a different kind of air.
The vent was originaly a glassfibre mould taken off the naca ducts you can buy from demon tweeks and the like. But i then cut it in half and
'filled' the flat part to make it huge. It took alot of time to get sorted and still needs some tweaking to make it a perfect fit to the
nose cone.
Im sure the air is passing thru the intercooler, but was unsure if its best to leave it like that and have the air enter the engine way to escape thru
the vents at the rear sides of the bonnet or make some holes about the intercooler in the bonnet to help it suck it out makeing it even more
effecient.
I will measure the air temp around the cooler to see if its getting head soak also. But thats when i get it running.

It'll look good once it's painted to match the bodywork.
I think I would put vent's towards the back edge of the bonnet and just give the whole underbonnet area an excuse to vent.
