Pics of sidepods

Hi guys,

anybody got any pics of side pods on any 7 styl-ee car?

I'm toying with the idea of incorporating some to hide the cats and rest of the exhausts on my V8 but I can't quite picture it.

Cheers!

Sam

Have a Google for Donkervoort (Dutch 7 type kit car) IIRC some are fitted with more bodywork than a normal 7 type.

Visit the Westfield Sports Car Club forum and do a search for pictures for a guy called V8 (aka Tommo).

Paul, those are really nice, are they racers? I guess that huge front spoiler would not be road legal? (although I'm not sure if i'd want one anyway.

Major Stare, I've had a look on the westfield forum but I can't seem to find anything. A link would be brilliant if you could help me out. Cheers!

Yeah that Dutton's nice. The Donkervoort is awesome. But TBH probably a bit beyond what I can achieve in my damp little garage.

Paul was closest to what I was thinking of picturing (does that statement make any sense?). Side pods to enclose the exhaust and blend into the rear arches, but maybe stop short of the fronts. I saw some pics a while back of an old racing 7 called "the black brick" which had enclosed sides and I think thats what started me on this road.

Thanks for all the input guys - keep it coming, I'll get something built, eventually.

I believe Matt at "procomp" on this forum had something to do with one of the Westfields in my pictures, might be worth sending him a U2U he may be able to advise you,I do no the pictures are a few years old though.
