Car back from bodyshop - finally

Well, after 9 months in the body shop I finally got the tub back last weekend - bonnet doors and boot to come next week. Spent a day flatting and polishing - now THATS' a boring job, still a bit more to do to really show the pearl/metallic effect properly.

But seeing as the whole back has been widening by about 5 inches I think the final effect is good - and you can't see the join Rescued attachment 22012008104.jpg

Yeah - I know, and it's in a tiny single garage, gonna buy a couple of new thick dust sheets and tape them to the body....

He's done a really nice job on that body!! Very nice and a great choice of colour.

Oh and seeing as you love flatting and polishing so much you can come and do mine when i get it

I must pop round to donuts with a camera when he's flatting that gel coat

Nice jasper, i am thinking in real life the colour is a tad deeper. My screen makes red look orange and orange look yellow ish

It's the Ford Focus ST 'ASBO' orange, it's a bit paler than your every orange..... and I'll be at Donut's too
