Fender buck process
I am almost ready to make my rear fenders.
It has been hard to find time to work on them and when I do the glass I guess I will have to crank the furnace on in the garage before to get a stable
(ish) temp. I was tempted to go with a mold for this as the two are identicle but they will have to have an aditional piece atached to each for mount
and flowing to the trunk line (mirror image of each other). Other than time the buck has probably cost around $20.00 to build + the cost of a profile
gauge to help with the symitry.
Hopefully just a skim coat of filler and another coat of paint and they will be ready for glass. To pull the part I will have to make a slice up the
back of the fender right below the tail light.
