Will you like it in Yellow? - time for color choosing again.
I am working on my #3 car - (#2 has no bodywork) and it's time to start in on the paint question again. What colors are your fave?
How does yellow strike you?

yellow is nice, i'm thinking of going for yellow with graphite grey here and there. Great combo.
Have a look at some lotus elise combinations, they will give you some ideas.

There is an Elise around this area that has a chromium yellow paint job that is spectacular. I admit to an affinity towards yellow, silver and black.
So classic
I am definitely interested in discovering colors that are not usual. Unfortunately the sporty palette is fairly limited to primary and secondary
colors. I would say that a main goal for this next color is to choose something that will be magazine friendly.
Hammerhead, What is the car in your avatar? And where can I see more of it?
Thanks.

yellow is underestimated in my opinion - I was going to buy a yellow Cupra but had too many negative comments. Looks good in yellow to me

Hi steve,
the car in the avatar is a lotus 2-eleven, autocar and pistonheads just did a test so there are loads of photos online.
My car will be very much inspired by the 2-11, and I already have the elise front and rear clams. I will post pics when I have them.
Cheers.
Steve.

Yeah, yellow seems to be winning - but had I posted a photo of it in Orange, how many orange votes would there be?!

I'd say, for a little extra touch, yellow, or orange, maybe even red, with the strip in carbon fibre. It won't be cheap but it'll look
cool. GD did a T70 with it, and it looked quite snazzy.

If you do it yellow you'll get more flies, they love yellow cars and sunny days
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Much as I like yellow, most sportscars are red or black for a reason. All goes back to "power colours".
Black is (IMHO) nice in the flesh but harder to photograph in order to show off lines properly.

bright metallic silver. Customer choice. But I love silver. It's just a bit common that's all. However, the shape will look good in
silver!

The only drawback of silver is that is an invisible color at certain hours.
putting that aside, I like it, it`ll look great.

A nice metallic graphite or gun metal grey with silver accents would look excellent on that car
