Venting trapped air?
I will need to let the trapped air out somehere on my front wings/fenders and would like to mount my intercooler in the path. Would it be better to
channel the air into a narrower spot farther back the fender or closer to the front as in just a few inches behind the slope of the fender opening.
I figure I will need an inner wheel well to channel the air /debris trapped over the wheel out seperately as to not trash the cooler. Any ideas.

and 19 now want to drive but have to be 25 before insurance will allow. Finally on the road

general rule is smallest air intake you can get away with (smaller=less drag), and a much larger exhaust. If the air behind the cooler is lower
press than the air in front it will flow better. So a straight, even tube from a high pressure area to the intercooler, then an expanding tube to a
low pressure area after the intercooler.
Have a look at some LMP cars. They all vent the wheel arches, and often the brakes/pods around where I think you want to.

My old 200SX used to vent to the intercooler through the back of the wheel arch with a simple slotted panel. It very quickly got clogged with road
crud so some kind of baffle would be a good idea, although you don't want to restrict the airflow too much.

Thanks for the replies. may have found a solution for most of the trapped air between the body and fender/wing.
Insperation via mgtd andbmw 328. Will still have to get air into the intercooler and out but this should help a fair bit.
