cockpit SVA

Can anyone see problems with the hand brake area and its tunnel that doesn't meet the rear bulkhead for SVA.

Also what's the general rule with the cockpit area I know that the dash needed a 19mm radius but what about the hand brake does it need a cover, the trans tunnel radius and do grp seats generally need edge stripping ect.

Thanks all Rescued attachment circuit06_inter2.jpg

I was told by Michael at Mitcham sva that anything within 170 mm high from the floor is exempt from projection failures.
If the sharp bits are below 170mm then they are exempt.

Slightly OT from question asked but would the shoulder straps of the harnesses pass SVA in this configuration? i.e looped round roll cage?

As long as there are no sharp edges and the rollcage is solid it will pass. Mine are like that to take up a bit of extra length and they passed.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

that dash and column support are definitely more than 170mm (less than 7 inches) and that dash is at least 14 inches up.

The dash is in the SVA exemption area behind the steering wheel isn't it?
