Side Screen
I’m thinking about making or getting made some side screens with a bulge (Elbow room) as fitted to the Caterhams.
Has anyone got any ideas how to make the bulge or what could be used to make them?
I have even wondered if it’s worth getting some for a Caterham and then making them longer.

I was thinking the same thing myself. Since my skill with GRP aren't legendary, I was also thinking of using thin plexiglas or Lexan (the
opaque stuff, maybe in black?) and heating it with a heat gun to shape it into a curve. Then, cover it with black leather-like vinyl, maybe?

I made some out of ali sheet and Lexan. Cut a slot in the flat side panel and fitted a curved length of ali in the hole for a arm space. The do help
a huge amount on motorway drives.

Have to agree with zetec they are a huge help with motorway driving if you have to do it, i was concerned about the elbow room as it is tight but i
cope with it and i'm happy with the results.
I 1st saw mine on skidmarks car at stoneleigh, chris (skidmark) had plenty of material over so made me some up in kit form so i could cut and custom
fit.
