Finally - a vent I actually LIKE

Followers of my side vent fiasco will be pleased to hear that I have finally made up my mind now

I got busy with the angle grinder and cut the old vents out, then grafted in a pair of vents from a well known middy (can you guess what it is?) ..... what do you think?

That's very neat! Are you going to put some mesh behind the hole? That would make it just right, I reckon.

My earlier attempts looked a bit amateurish so I conceded defeat in the design department and bought a pair of vents on eBay (£10 ) and grafted them in using fibreglass & filler.

I am going to put stainless mesh behind it to cover up the gubbins which should finish it off nicely.

Looks nice that. As said, a hint of mesh and you're laughing.

If it was up to me, I'd fit black mesh - but it's your car so you can do whatever you want!
