Mirrors - decisions

Ideas / suggestions welcome as this is hurting my head.

I currently have a pair of Racetech mirrors.

Don't know whether to mount them on the scuttle, or halfway up the front cage uprights.

Gonna also have to buy some CBR type mirrors for SVA, so don't know whether to mount them on the Scuttle or cage either.

Might stick with the bike ones after SVA if they are any good as I've heard the Racetech ones don't give the best view.

They also have to look good.

Any thoughts???

Cheers,

I'd mount on scuttle...if you decide to replace with different items later, the fibreglass will be easier to fill / paint than the rollcage...

Cheers guys.

Decided to get some CBR types for SVA, scuttle mounted.

Then fill the holes and mount my racetech ones with sikaflex and tie clips so they look like the following pic.

Thinking of only going to SVA with body grey primered so I can fill the holes after before I spray.

One point that may be worth considering is that the closer the mirror is to the eye the wider the field of view becomes.
