Finishing GRP after a cut
I'm fitting a roll bar to my Fury, but I'll need to cut the rear tub down, as I have an early one with 3 point belt mounts, so the rear
tub almost touches the back of the seats. When I cut it, I'll be removing the radius fold at the edge.
How should I finish the cut? Simple U channel, or should I make another folded lip in GRP (or stick the cut off piece back on, less a few inches) as
I guess this part also adds strength?
Thanks,
Jon

I have sprayed up the edge after cutting which seems good but not easy to do but easiest and most popular will be the knock on edge stuff.

I was once told by a laminator to use super glue on the raw edges.

Sounds like a plan to stop the fraying. Will use a trim to make it look nice. Cut came out ok using my multi tool.
