Doors...
Does anyone have a set of Caterham doors and would be prepared to draw a template of one so that I can see if they will fit my Luego? I would like to
use Caterham doors because of the bulge in them gives a bit bigger space in the cockpit...
Thanks

I'm pretty sure the caterham ones are way too short for a velocity.
I have one westfield side screen that I picked up for £5 just to check the size, it looks like it's the right length depending on the windscreen
position.
I'm not sure if westfield do one with a bulge though ? I could probably sketch some measurements if you need me to.

I fitted Caterham half doors to the Indy, Caterhams are tiny cars! I extended them to fit, but am on the look out for some that are bigger.

Here you go dave, if you have a big bit of card it should make sense.
measurements
westfield sidescreen
The window is about 6cm's in from the edges & there is a good 2cm's all round the edge of the whole sidescreen that is just vinyl so
it's got some flex, basically the metal frame is 2cm's in from the edges if that makes sense.
Good luck.

the quantum xtreme also has elbow bulges on the doors and is a bigger car... let me know if you want the details.

I've always thought that quantum nailed it with their side screens, they look spot on.
It would be interesting to see if they would fit a velocity.
Enjoy the 'blue peter' project dave, let us know how they look for size, ive only tried it on my bare chassis with the scuttle placed
roughly in position.

Andy I need to get some cardboard tomorrow but I have just had a quick measure and it looks pretty good.
I'll let you know how it goes...
Thanks again....
