Attaching Windscreen to pillars
Morning, what is the correct way to attach the screen frame to the pillars... I have done a little research and most just use self tappers (2 each
side)
Is it just me or does that seam a little "unsafe" at 100mph+ (Autobahn)
Why didn't i just make it simple!

I inserted ally rivnuts into the frame from inside, drilled frame supports to the size of the exposed rivnut then filed rivnut back to just below
surface of screen support so nuts would countersink
Added angle to rear of screen so screen can't be push back
I eat to survive
I drink to forget
I breath to pi55 my ex wife off (and now my ex partner)

Are your M5 bolts just self tapping and screwed into the windscreen surround. Or is it better to drill and tap the frame before fitting the glass..
