Winter mods part 1

As I'm driving to Le Mans in the kit, thought I better get a move on and actually do some winter mods. So far the list has been:

1) Re do the gear lever gaitor and surround. This was a bit of a bodge and never really worked well. So after much faffing and adjusting, it's now complete and looks good and works well.
2) Get some vents cut into the nose, done (pics to follow)
3) Remove aeroscreen and fit new windscreen.

4) Remove small 150mm of water pipe and fit new alloy tube with flared end to stop a small weep - next on list

5) Fitted brand new starter motor to replace old second hand one - done

6) Fit brand new alternator to replace old second hand one - done

All I have to do now is try and make a roof / half hood without wasting a load of time and money

Need to make her as comfortable as possible for the drive to and from Le Mans

That's about all really as far a mods go, all that's left is to peel off all the protective sheet that covers all the panels. But that will probably get done as soon as I tax it.
