Alloy Wheel Opinion

I recently got my alloy wheels back from the powder coaters, they were very badly curbed, and the lacquer was coming off at points so I decided to get them redone in grey. The centre caps were also very badly corroded so I decided to buy a 30x20cm sheet of 3M Di-Noc carbon film to redo them. They came out really nice, however I am unsure if I am a massive fan of the carbon look. What does everyone else think?

The 3M film cost £4 for the sheet, whereas new centre caps cost £13 each! So I am more than happy for it to be a temporary solution until I come up with something I like.

Cap looks good, too little to stand too much. Powdercoat looks very glossy, but look very mottled, did you get them to finish the alloy surface prior to Powdercoating, or did you do it?

The alloys were just blasted, primed, powdered and lacquered. I paid £40 per wheel to get it done and I'm happy with the finish of them for the price I paid.

I think it may just be the light/reflection that makes them look a little motled. Will be good to see them fitted with tyres and on a car.

I fitted some of these domed resin caps for my SRT6 wheels after I had them refurbed

I just carbon wrapped my whole dash on the Striker so I may be a little biased!!

Pics to follow, I think it looks great, but then I like carbon and my dash looked shocking before!!!

Well the tyres are now fitted and I have to say I really like the look of them now. I've got a set of Toyo TR1's on there which were £220 delivered which didn't seem like a bad price.
