What does everyone use to make holes in the bodywork for the wishbones ect is a dremel the tool for the job or is there something better?

dremel with the black carbon discs i think they are. they little metal discs didnt work well for me.

I used masking tape to cover the area. Marked it. Made a series of drill holes, linked them together with a hacksaw blade (with masking tape wrapped around one end to hold. Then filed it out neat. Worked a treat and saved me spending a fortune on a Dremel.

These are easier/quicker than files, but that's the way I'd basically do it. Wear a mask (grp or ally) when using flap wheels as there's going to be plenty of dust

I used a normal hole cutter, mask the area first, and cut from the gel coat side. Perfect hole and really quick too.





I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.

Covered in masking tape, used a template to mark the masking tape.

Cut out holes with a hole saw and angry grinder, then used a die grinder to clean up the holes and add the correct shape etc.
