Low Cost 5" round tail lights for La Bala in USA?
Having made a fundamental change to the back of my design I am now searching for nice round tail lights that look KINDA like the Red Ferrari ones in
this photo. I show this because it's the closest thing I have found... 
I am not trying to copy a Ferrari, but my design now requires 10cm +/- round red lights with ali bases. Like this:
Any help finding an INEXPENSIVE source for this type of light would be greatly appreciated.

The look a bit like the ones my Dads ford 9000's used to have on the back- some campers had similar I think as well.
High $ ones from corvettes?

Stafford Vehicle Components is now selling through CMC in the US. Sort of enticing after looking at the bleak line-up available here.
Although this 4-1/4" LED from Petersen Mfg. isn't bad (flush mount though) and probably CHEAP:

Dont laugh but next time your behind a tractor trailer rig check out the tail lights....they look like the LED jobs above....
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labotomy...

Before I started designing around the Jeep Libery lights I had been staring at tail lights for over 2 years and I had some LED 4" rounds
selected with a nice pattern to the LED's...
I was hoping to find a complete light/base/bezel with translucent extruded sides, but barring that I can always recess mount the LED Style Light
inside a spun aluminium tube and cut it to the length I desire. Making a 'Canon' mounting.
Pete, Thanks, your source has great prices and some of their lights even have a nice polished steel bezel option.
or chromed plastic...
Now I need to design a canon style aluminium tube to hold these... Working on it tonite.
Any online sources for large diameter ali tube?

I'm going to use these
from Hella. I note that there is a NA Hella website at http://www.hellausa.com although I haven't had time
to search for those lamps there.
I haven't bought mine yet (bodywork issues seem far, far, away  ) but I don't expect them to be more tha $15-$20 each.
Like the new rear end styling BTW,

Hey, Steve, you're right; they have a bunch of lights. I had found the mfr. first, then the dealer, but didn't look around.
I kinda like these slightly more subdued ones, only I'd put them in straight :
Spun tubes will look great.
How much for the Ferrari lights? I'm afraid to ask, knowing that they're made by elves that crap gold bars

Side Marker Lights: $24 ea.
F355 Taillights: $224 ea.
F355 Fr. Turn Signals: $212 ea.

More than enough to blow my meager budget...
I .like the light you show above. I am going to get those. The only problem now is that I don't have complete dimensions for the grommet and the
ring. I need to know that before I can source the spun tubes, but I need to know if I can get the right tubes before I spend the money on the
lights... I guess I could order one grommet and one ring, check it out and then order the rest, but it seems like an inefficient use of time.

I looked at a lot of lights yesterday, and the 4" light with a rim diameter of 4-1/4" is very standard, so the measurements should be
reliable.
As your tubes will be very simple, betcha that you could get them done cheap by a friend or a local shop:
