Tax Disc Holder

Looking at getting a tax disc holder in anticipation of getting the car on the road.

Where have people mounted theirs and what are the legalities regarding them.

I have looked on the net and found this

http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Motorcycle/Bodywork/Tax_Disc_Holders/BikeIt_Trident_Tax_Disc_Holder/385/1126

Have others used this as wondered what diameter the mounting hole was.

Thank you.

I think it has to be on nearside. Usually on dash or scuttle area. Saw one today at stoneleigh fitted to seat base, so choice seems to be wide open

When my tax disc arrives, i am going to laminate it, and put it in the triangle of the left hand side of my windscreen support

Thank you.

I am going to mount mine on the windscreen support on the nearside, inside a bike holder.

The bolt i will be using is M8 so need a hole to suit or one i can drill to suit.
