side screens what do you think?

I have nearly finished the doors i started last year... i know a year is a long time but work and swmbo have all conspired to prevent any time or money being spent on the car.

Well the bare fibre glass has been covered and the poly carbonate bolted on. only need the restraining straps to complete the doors.

i am chuffed with my first attempt at fibre glassing. some of the inside details leave a bit to be desired but i have many years to perfect.

very nice, how will they be fixed on, and what sort of seal will you get with the windscreen?

Bit late now but I would have rounded corners on the poly carb.

Looks very good

They generaly get hung on and the soft vinyl material make an ok seal.

I have wind deflectors and they did a fantastic job keeping most of the water out when we were moving in conjunction with the flintstone hood.

Have been meaning to get round to doing a mould for Indy doors but new job and time constraints have put that to bed for the time being

However they look, they will make a huge difference to driving the car at motorway speeds.

Many thanks for the kind comments.

I have the same thoughts about curving the polycarbonate . the rubber U trim around the top is not stuck on yet so it will be easy to remove the Poly and cut it. I have seen some U capping at Car builder solutions that bends to a 2" radius.

Mr wibbles right i have a slight gap at the front and a couple of locations along the bottom, so i was thinking of getting some "leaf" trim for the front and some D trim for the bottom and rear edges.

what sort of fasteners for the doors do you all think would be best? a- the standard press studs normally used on hoods? or b- the "turn top" type?
