Rear arch spacers

My new wheels are going to stick out around 6-7mm at the back so I was thinking of making a 15mm thick spacer for each rear arch. I couldnt get high enough offset to keep them under the arch.

Anyone made rear arch spacers for their car? Piccies and methods? Or indeed just ideas

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

With all the money you've put into that car, just buy some wider arches!

I already have 11" arches on the rear. Are wider ones available?

I could knock up some ply spacers, suitably fillered and painted black to blend in with the car fairly easily I should think.

Mike Biddle has very wide arches on the back of his RST powered Caterham.

I'm not sure of the construction method, but I think it involved buying a second set of wings, cutting one set down, glassing in a new flange and bolting them together......
