Awful phone camera pic, if you can't tell...engine sticks 6 inches into nose cone XD I'll need to make some kind of buldge/scoop that goes over the bonnet to nose cone divide.

I hadn't thought about just leaving it ^_^ When I get a bonnet I'll see what it looks like.

A kia scoop eh? Not heard of that. I'm quite tempted to make one myself. I've got enough fibreglassing materials to si...patch up a ship.

the mk one isn't really like the kia one. similar but not the same. have a look at the mk one though. looks the perfect size

It looks like it doesn;t necessarily need to be longer than normal, just further forward than normal. Presumably you could either fix the whole thing onto just the bonnet and have the front bit "resting" on the bonnet, or fix it to both, then make a cut to line up with the existing bonnet/nose join and make a lip for one edge to rest on.
