I've found a shell (not Locost)
My hunt for an Elan shell has finally resulted in a purchase! It's not the immaculate painted 26R one I've been chasing but it's a
start and it's comes with history!
Unfortunately it's North of Lincoln so I've got a bit of a drive to fetch it!

Fantastic, they used to make those in Cheshunt where i was brought up (unfortunately a few years before my time though).
Delamare road was where the Lotus factory used to be & i played in the same local darts team as the guy who was the chief sprayer, he reckoned he
had a part in spraying nearly every car over the last ten years of production in Cheshunt, he also drove most of the cars produced because they were
built in a factory one end of the road & sprayed at the sprayshop the other end of the road, Lucky boy got to pick them all up 
Good luck with the build, what are the plans for it ??

For a minute there, i thought this was going to be a "I was digging in the garden when...." story!!
Looks quite tidy, and not much work needed?
I reckon a mid engine hayabusa and spaceframe subframes.... ?

It's in Scampton I think. I went there last week via Retford so it seemed a long way! And, with a bg enclosed trailer on the back it isn't
going to be quick!
I'm itching to fetch it and get it home to have a good look, lift the body off etc.!
