I've never been a fan of yellow either, but I reckon it goes well with a lightish blue. This is my latest acquisition:

wow - thanks for the great response everyone.

GT40 in smoke silver looks awesome. Viper in shiny Royal blue also magnificent. I still keep getting drawn to the Halfords BTCC car in that warm metallic burnt orange type colour. A mate of mine is working on a rendering of one of my photos in that colour with broad stripe and nosecone in silver and black stripe in centre. Strange i like the orange seeing as im not a red / yellow fan.

The graphics on the Dax are great - similar to what i have had a go at already.

Seeing those pics certainly re-inforces that whilst dark blue is to my liking the gel coat Oxford just isnt a good se7en colour. i defo need something that shines more and has that metallic sheen.

There is a Megabusa near me that is done in bright blue / green flip paint. It is stunning but i have reservations about flip paints.

Here is an example of the render. I would probs do the silver in vinyl and have it one width to front of nosecone. Whole bodywork in orange of course (nosecone done to get the idea). Stripes over the whole car. Probs get the wings done in dark graphite and put same silver stripe over centre.

Cant decide what colour seats and roll bar should be???

Sorry about the size - i tried to resize it but result didnt look good. Rescued attachment ipage_1_0.jpg

Ive done some more investigation on the orange. I really like the colour of the Range Rover concept vehicle (Range Stormer). I have been led to believe this colour was on the first 250 or so first edition Range Rover Sports. Any one know exactly what it is? I have been told Tangiers or Vesuvious orange. Dont know if it is a special metallic / pearl version. I have seen Tangiers Orange on the G4 Discoveries and it doesnt seem to look the same.
