Soft boot cover
Dangle_kt - 3/11/08 at 10:42 PM

Just test fitted my soft boot cover - it fits really well.

I am very pleased!

I have fitted it using genuine velcro, so it will be strong enough, but also easy to gain access to the boot (and the petrol tank!) - got the tip of here - and I think it looks great without the press studs.

it was purchased from this place

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/rear-tonneau-boot-cover-tiger-locost-kitcar-westfield_W0QQitemZ270283675256QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item270283675256&_trksid=p328 6.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

I messaged him, he emailed me - I sent the payment and the dimensions, and within a few days I had my cover.

Great service, and the finish is very good. Only wrinkle is I underestimated the OD of the rear supports, as they are on an angle they are not round - but still I can live with it.

I just need to fit the velcro all the way round - but as a first stab on one side only, I'm chuffed.

Is that a Stuart Taylor chassis? I wanted to get a template/dimensions for mine (so I can use the same chap), but I found measuring around the roll bar supports is a PITA. Maybe I could tweak your measurements?!

Fantastic Link. I want one of these for mine and at that price its not worth messing about with making my own!
