Anyone know what this wiper fitting is. I have a westfield wiper kit but the wipers are a little small and I need to get some bigger ones. Currently I have 8" blades.

That bit ( with the grub screw in ) should let go of the wipper and reveal the standard 'mini' toothed wheel.

Yup. It's a normal wiper arm. That bit attaches to the spindle of the rocker box. The outer aspect of that adaptor is toothed and engaged in the outer bit of the arm.

Am I missing something though- can't you just use 9" blades and (if necessary) extend the wiper arm slightly (most are adjustable)?
