Description

Ply, foam, exterior vinyl, staples and glue.

Hinges like a saloon car and a simple lock - held down with small angle section of ally pop riveted to the chassis and then screwed up underneath into the ply...

12mm MDF, radiused edge with a router, covered with black vinal. screwed in place from below.

Took all of about 1/2 hour to make and made from stuff that was laying around the garage.

Shameless hijack but how are these panels fastened on, particularly at the rear?

saigonij - 13/5/08 at 07:32 AM

not a hijack at all, that was going to be my next question....

has anyone found any good metal hooks that can hook under the rear tube that creates the top rear panel shape?
