Does anyone know if there is a specific measurement or angle for the maximum height of an aeroscreen? I assume there is, but cant find anything in my old book. Or is it just common sense? The reason i ask is that im about to order one but ive extended the sides of the bonnet upwards a bit to give more engine clearance. Thanks in advance.

SVA manual has a complicated picture in that explains how they find the max height above the scuttle before it gets counted as a full screen requiring washers, wipers and demisters.

however for the MOT as I found when my buggy had a huge orange plastic screen that I could just about see over if I sat up straight. All that was needed was to simply point at it and delare it to be 'A wind deflector' and so did not require wipers, where then he tester would look at this joker, grumble and simply tick the N/A box
