Metro bonnet vents

Just got a cheep set of metro bonnet vents of ebay and just looking at them started me thinking about the hot air flow coming out of the vents –will it be noticeable by the driver and passenger ? any one using these type of vent ?

Or should I just stop thinking about things and just fit them ( sprayed black first )

Paul

Have a look here

Some might consider it a risk if you have an engine fire

Some of that warm stuff from the end of your bonnet and acros your face might be quite nice at this time of year.

can't say I have noticed it - I have bigger vent but it is on the passenger size about the exhuast.

Put them on the sides of the bonnet instead then if, say, a rad hose comes off the fluid goes seideways and down rather than up and into your face (guess how I found out... ).

Luckily, my vents are on the sides...

What did you pay as I've got a pair sat in the garage.

vents sprayed and fitted - just need to clean up the dust from cutting holes and fit some mesh under them. Rescued attachment nov06 156.jpg

Look good mate.

Regaring getting hot under the bonnet, what type of grill are you using at the front as I have an interesting post to start soon about under bonnet temp.
