Hopefully if weather stays nice next week then I will be doing some painting.
It will be orange/black scheme with front cycle wings in black.
Now reason for post is to get some ideas about putting some visibility markers on the front wings - or in simple terms, applying some bright paint on
them to make them more visible.
So post up your ideas 
paint them orange?
stick some Yellow/Black stripey tape to them?
fit side repeaters to them?
fit birght coloured edge trim to them?
get some flame transfers for them?
brush liberally with PVA and sprinkle some glitter over them?
get some of those little car window flags and glue the to the wings?
I could go on....

I reckon wide Orange front stripe tapering to narrow at the back onto a Black ground - bit like the Gulf GT40 colours.
Whilst everyone has their painting hats on can I ask another question?
What is the best undercoat to use on gel colour coated g/fibre going from BRG to Canary Yellow - a) barcoat b) etch primer or c) ordinary grey primer
or should it be white?

ok, I'll let you know what I am thinking.
draw line from mid point of front edge to rear outer corner and fill this area orange; the rest being black. So looking from above it is a traingle.
i have to say on that beetle pic i had to look for a good few mins to actualy notice it had wings fitted!
Get some Scotchbrite reflective tape and make a pretty pattern like chevrons. Daytime it is grey night time and it will be very bright in oncoming
car's headlights, it is two or three times as reflective as numberplates!
