Today i have fitted my new bike carbs from boggs, they are awesome!!! Much stronger sound and a lot more responsive when dippping the right hand pedal
though i'm yet to go for a drive.
The only thing is i now have a hole in my bonnet where my old carb air filter stuck out.
Instead of buying a new bonnet i'd like to put some vents in but not to sure of a design and so...
I was hoping that people could post some pics of their vents, hopefully the pic will show where the hole is, just the filter isn't there
anymore!!
Thanks!!
Put a NACA duct in it's place - should be roughly the right size and that way you could direct it to feed air directly to your filters!
sorry - no photo...

Have you cut a new hole in the side of bonnet to feed the carbs with air?
If not you could make some ducting to them and put a filter in the hole thats already there.
Would a fiesta/escort rs turbo bonnet vent fit there?
Cut a hole on the other side and put mesh behind them both

You could do a smaller version of this westfield, and put some black mesh behind.

had the same problem when i converted to bike carbs on my CVH i ended up making a air box to draw air from the existing hole in the bonnet as didnt
want to make another whole in the side of the bonnet for a sausage type filter, ive got a NASCA type bulge to fit at a later date if required for
additional cold air.
