Has anyone found a supplier of sticky back neoprone or the like?
I find that I tend to slide forward a little on my shiny smooth GRP seats.

Theres a guy near me in Shildon nr. Bishop Auckland that makes padded seat inserts that are brilliant, are held in place with velcro, comfortable and
look the biz.
Me and DarrenW have them and also a lot of the Westfield boys.
Far better than neoprolene sponge (which splits and breaks off, i know 'cause i had some on me seats!)

you could always use the sticky backed gripper material like they use on skateboards. i believe people use patches of it in karting seats. just make
sure youve got strong trousers, or you'll climb out of your car with all the butt worn out of them hehehe

Oakesys main seat pads were £35 each and he can also do headrests at £10 each. Highly recommended. Ive posted some pics before.
He also made transmission tunnel cover (£55) which im extremely happy with. All made to templates that i supplied to suit the Mac#1 Triton style seats
or he already has templates to suit Westfield race seats.

I like the look of simple neoprone though.
No other vinyl/carpet/soft bits in my car so want to keep it minimalistic and I don't really like the vinyl look.

I'm going minimalist as well but wanted some padding so came up with these.

They're made from camping mat from Decathlon sports store. They have a silver top surface. One mat at £12 gets you more than enough for 2 seats.
I've had some trouble attatching velcro as it wouldn't stick and I didn't want stitching. Solved it this weekend by applying the velcro
direct onto wet sikaflex.

About 10mm or possibly slightly less. They do three thicknesses and I got the middle one (based on colour). Think the others were 6mm and 15mm but its
a while ago so I couldn't swear to that!
