has any one bought one of these before he is selling them in carbon untrimed just wondering on the qauilty and fitting.

i've got the straight across one, not the jpe one, but they're moulded so the top section is flat. it has a return underneath for mounting, but you need to trim a lot out to make it flexible enough to bend to the curve on the top of the scuttle.

so far with mine, i've got it down to 3 maybe 1" wide tabs on the bottom return, and then it'll probably get 2 bolts through either end.

as for the carbon bit, it's got a bit of imperfection in the weave, and a few bubbles, but nothing major

it's not fluke quality, but then it's not fluke price.....you pays your money, you takes your choice
