Hi ya , looking to make a heat shield to go around my Exhaust pipe. does any one have any ideas. Sugestions and pics would be much appreciated.

is there anything you can do to remove that short piece? Eitehr weld it on or find a longer tube?

And those clamps - you can get jubillee type clamps that are less obtrusive.
