Had a few months off moving house and trying to sort the new garage and at last I'm all ready for a full day tomorrow finishing the side panels and back panel - with Indykids help.

Update tomorrow.

Beaten too it but no way will that garage stay like that..........

Do you find you have too call a halt every so often and have a session hoovering.......for want of a better word ?

At least that garage looks a bit wider than the old garage...

Yep, bit wider and yes - I do like my heavy duty Karcher hoover!

Will keep you all updated.

Always work on carpet, any old type of carpet.

It stops the concrete drawing heat from the feet, and stops small nuts and bolts bouncing into oblivion when they are dropped!

Pat

What's your plans for the car?

Painted or left raw?

Looking forward to seeing it actually.

Update:

After Tom bottling out of the hard work (with a mysterious illness), I made a start myself.

Got one side panel finished, sikad' and currently clamped and the other ready for sikaring in the morning.

Even got the exhaust hole cut.

Joel - thanks, should of let you know, managed to pinch a bit off my dad and though nana's to it and just got on with it.

Old underlay on the floor - good on the knees and against the cold.

If you've ever spent a very cold winter working in a steel storage warehouse with a concrete floor, anything that reduces the cold is nice!

TimC - ali sides and back. Black nose, bonnet, scuttle and arches with real carbon tunnel and dash.

There's a load of pics here for reference so far: www.bitsablade.co.uk

The 30 point turn was a bugger though to turn the car around: Rescued attachment 3 point turn.JPG
