ive been trying to work out a quick cheap way to be able to fasten a bag and spare fuel can on the back cover of my ZR for the trip to Stoneleigh. I did this for £4 with some large u-saddles.

And a close up. one day i may fit a boot but for now this will do and very cheap / quick to do.

Neat... I might be a bit concerned about "give" in the rope once tied on, but I guess you could use an elastic octopus if you spaced the saddle thingies appropriately
