It's 5 years & nine months since I bought my donor, and I'm in serious danger of actually finishing it! Rescued attachment Nearly finished 5.JPG

Very nice job...
Glad to see people are finishing their book builds still - lots seem to be sold as projects half finished...

Cheers

Looking good David, but it won't be finished until you take the bubble wrap off the roll bar!

DavidM... just checked ya photo archive ....thats some absolute careful and tidy work youve done there well done... looks amazing.

ive only spent 3 days on mine and its quite far on...i feel ashamed (for buying a kit)

Thanks for your comments. Car isn't quite as good in the flesh as it appears in the pictures, as you can't see all the chips and scratches, but overall I'm pleased with the result as I didn't set out to build a concours showcar. Bubble wrap is still on the rollbar as that's the only part of the chassis that's still got a scratch free paint finish.
I'll post some pictures of the interior next weekend, as I didn't have a chance to take photos before it got dark on Sunday.
Just got a few SVA edges etc to sort out and I've got to source some wing mirrors. I can't get the ones I bought from MK adjusted to a position that enables me to see behind the car. I don't know why as I've seen them fitted to a number of cars. Any suggestions gratefully received.
