Ok who has fitted a std nosecone to a 442 and how?
Does a std one fit for width? I'm not so worried about height at the moment as I reckon anything I but will prolly need a bit of fettling and filler to make it fit. So anyone got an answer ? or photo's would be good too.
Thanks in advance.

Couple of questions: the 442 is 2" wider at the 'L' assembly?

Are the 'J' rails at the same angle as a 'Book' chassis?

Assuming yes to both these I guess you could just slide a standard nosecone forward of where it should be, up to the point where the sides of the nose are inline with the chassis rails.

My chassis is 1.75" wider in this area (my 'L' assembly is book but the 'J' rails are 1.75" wider) and I've managed to fit a standard nose just by sliding the nose forward.

This obviously makes the side panels harder to do but this can be overcome.

Hope that helps,
James

I've fitted a Luego Velocity nosecone to my 442 chassis, no real problems. Upper suspension mounting points are obviously 2" lower than the moulding expects and the bottom of the chassis is visible.

Width - wise it fis OK Rescued attachment Nosecone fit.jpg
