what are you running on those wheelie bins Joel? I find that 6's give you better rolling speed but less manouvering accuracy

5.5Jx13" is the size for classic Seven look.

Ive got a set of 13" rs alloys, dont like them.
So I bought a set of 17" allesios with toyo proxes. They look the muts nuts. just have to make some new cycle wing brackets.

225 mm across the tread rims from 6-8inch should work if I'm reading Yokohama's website right.

17's are not the best for good handling which is pretty much the point of having one of these cars. 15" should be the max you want to go IMHO

emsfactory - 21/12/05 at 12:04 AM

These cars handle so much better than pretty much everything anyway. i like my 17's, i think they look much better than the smaller ones. Anyhow, I still have a set of the 13's to destroy when i'm in the mood.

Also, the circumference of the tyres on the 17s are only very slightly more than the 13s

the usual arguments relate to sidewall flex, not rolling radius

And unsprung weight if you aren't using super-lightweight racing 17's.
