and the winning post is in sight. I have just placed the bonnet on the car and cut it around the side exit exhaust manifold.
The problem is that the hole has weakened the overall structure of the panel and neither side of the cutout lines up with the chassis rail. If I put a bonnet catch on the front the middle will not line up and vice versa.
Is the solution to fit 3 bonnet catches to one side of the car?
What do others do?
