With IVA looming ( Friday 13th ) I took the car round the farm for a last shake down.
The sun was out, the concrete dry, but there's grass growing in the muddy expansion joints.
Not any more there isn't. All gone from the gaps and deposited all over the car.
Still, the wife made a lovely job with a bucket of hot water and the Zipwax when I got home bless her.
Cheers
Paul G
p.s.
The mirror fell off the windscreen. Better now than Friday
Drive dirty

Good luck for Friday
Looking good, hope Friday goes well but with a tidy build as yours, I think it'll be fine :-)
Thanks for the good wishes chaps.
My stupid grin has now left my face and the worried frown has reappeared.

Yep - best wishes for Friday. Don't forget to take a bag full of potentially useful tools with you, just in case there's something trivial that can be fixed on the day.

You don't need an interior mirror if you have one on the N/S unless things have changed? If you used a double sided pas to stick it on they are useless, Loctite do a kit of adhesive and a little bit of mesh which you won't get off in a hurry. Expect to see some good news on Friday! Mel
I've had good results with adhesive pads - but I did put a lot of effort into degreasing the screen before applying them.
Last time I needed to remove a mirror I had to cut the foam with a thin blade and soak off the glue with sticky-stuff remover, as I was scared that I
was going to break the glass if I carried on trying to pull the mirror off.
How did it go today Paul with the IVA?
