How thick, what material my plastic carbon one of them has melted

I ordered enough of this from ebay to make some.

Stainless Steel Sheet Bright Polish 0.9mm, 1.2mm, 1.5mm Various Sizes

Made up some paper templates for sizing first.



Need to cut them out and rivet them on now.

I did mine with the stick on " Venture Shield" type paint protection film. Matt finish. Almost invisible.
See for yourself. Or don't...

Stainless is too heavy.
Use aluminium, 1 mm thick is plenty.

Paint it, polish it your choice.


MP 650 C, if it does melt, then you have serious problem.
