Kitten s2000 on the road at last
unijacko67 - 10/7/13 at 07:09 PM

At last its done, just passed MOT 1st time today, runs fine, Jesus it goes like the flipping clappers, nearly swapped ends on a fairly straight bit . Had it on the scales a couple of weeks ago and weighed 702kg (240bhp) with just a few bits to add so probably a good bit heavier than most of your cars on here. Needs setting up, but I'm well happy.

Thanks. It is mental, I need to get used to it and set it up so Blyton should be a good run out.

Over the years I've gone softer on spring rate and use roll bars front and rear . Ian "oddified" on here might have some ideas as his layout is similar to yours.

Thanks Froggy, to be fair it's not finished by a long way as I haven't made/fitted front anti roll bar and I only had the rear dampers set on 5 clicks. Darren did the corner weights a couple of weeks ago and along with the angle of the shockers (30 degrees) worked a starting point out of 350 front and 300 rear, but the main reason for getting it out and giving it a good thrashing is to make sure I have no ecu issues. It's 100% up to now, I think I'll take Dan Mason out in it as he has driven some fast cars, so his opinion should be good. Booked it into the car show at Heaves Hotel Kendal on Sunday 14th July so a few tidy up jobs needed. Cheers
